You will be working as Technical Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Project Manager and will be part of BU Measurement & Analytics R&D team within ABB AIC. As part of AIC, you will work in a dynamic and creative team with a wide range of experience and expertise. The Measurement & Analytics R&D team focuses on creating digital solutions to customers using cutting edge technologies and platforms.

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing, development and technical delivery of SW projects, development of technical requirements, performance improvements, maintenance of legacy applications.
• You will also be required to adhere to company defined software development processes, comply to cyber security requirements of SW products.
• Handling all external/internal technical Interactions, technical POC with external teams/service partners/Product management/Project management and technically coach and guide junior project members on design aspects, implementation details
• Technical responsibility of the technical project artifacts, follow industry standard SDLC for development. Understand and development of SW fulfilling to cyber security requirements.
• Ability to understand problem statement/ requirement, perform deeper technical troubleshooting and have an understanding of and technical leadership towards productization of SW, provide technical inputs for user documentations

Your background

• BE in Electrical/ Electronics and communication /Computer engineering or equivalent
• 8 -12 years’ of strong hands-on experience in design and development
• 2/3 years’ hands on experience in designing complete cloud and web applications, experience in translating solution architecture into component designs
• Having hands on experience on tools such as Angular 6+, C# .Net Core, Web API, microservices, Mongodb, SQL, RDBMS, Doc DB, Kubernetes in Azure, Azure AD, Microservices architecture, Kubernetes, docker, REST & swagger
