    Position summary

    . You will be working on MyControlSystem (MCS) and Cyber Security Workplace (CSWP), both service-oriented products within the process automation sector. These solutions enable customers to visualize and analyze control system performance, software integrity, security, and lifecycle status. Your main responsibilities include: • Test Assurance: Ensure comprehensive testing of applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and stability. • Test Planning & Execution: Collaborate with product owners and architects to create test plans, executing both manual and automated tests for frontend and backend features. • Test Automation Growth: Balance manual and automated testing (50:50) initially, with a focus on expanding automation to reduce manual efforts. • Defect Reporting & Analysis: Investigate and document defects, providing actionable insights and collaborating with development teams for high-quality implementations.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Professional experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering (Bachelor's degree is a plus) as well as proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C# for developing automated tests and frameworks.
    • Experience in test automation and various types of testing, including end-to-end, UI, and functional tests (e.g., with Playwright, Selenium) as well as regression and acceptance tests.
    • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes, particularly in integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
    • Strong analytical and debugging skills for analyzing test results and efficiently resolving issues.
    • Negotiation-level communication skills in both German and English, both written and spoken
