Test Lead

You will be working as Test Lead and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Associate Project Manager. You will be primarily responsible for planning and executing tests in various laboratory departments on different devices using a complete knowledge of standard references, testing methodologies and requested requirements. Evaluate and document test results for use as supporting knowledge in the development of new products. Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects / challenges often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring product quality for MA products and software solutions
• Including development of test strategy and designing and testing plan development
• Creation of test environment & maintaining of lab infrastructure
• Testing execution and reporting in compliance with the quality index of the organization
• Leading and guiding the product test team, also will be responsible for the test delivery of the test team
• Aiming to elicit and develop test requirements from product requirements
• Working in a dynamic and creative team with a wide range of experience and expertise

Your background

• Degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA
• Minimum experience of 5-8 yrs for Test Engineer and 9+ yrs for Test Lead
• Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux - Knowledge of SDLC Processes & Tools, knowledge of agile methodology
• Ability to collate data and compile test reports and excellent software troubleshooting skills & designing and write complex software testing procedures
• In-depth knowledge of program testing software including Azure DevOps/any test management tool is an added advantage
• Able to understand and drive manual testing process towards successful automation
• Good knowledge on APIs and working experience with API test clients like Postman
• Knowledge of industrial protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Ethernet IP is an added advantage
