    Position summary

    and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details of test sequences and testing procedures. You can expect a varied job with a balanced mix of theory and practice: you will draw up test plans, carry out laboratory tests and then document your results. Your diverse range of tasks offers you excellent development prospects.
    Your responsibilities

    • You execute or participate in type tests and approval tests for electronic devices.

    • Generation of test setups; definition of testing parameters based on national and international standards; performance, documentation and evaluation of tests on own responsibility.

    • You actively collaborate with R&D project teams.

    • You coordinate and supervise tests in external labs.

    • You constantly enhance and optimize existing test facilities.

    • You organize and perform sampling tests within product maintenance.

    • You coordinate the laboratory equipment maintenance.

    Your background

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering (University or Technical College)

    • Several years of experience in a similar role

    • Sound knowledge of the relevant standards (products and safety)

    • An enthusiastic and team-oriented personality as well as diligent and autonomous approach to work

    • A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

    • Sound knowledge in using and programming LabView

    • Familiarity with electronic circuits. Experience with higher voltage environments (up to 1kV) is preferred but not required.

    • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
