    TMC Transport and Trade Specialist I

    Assisting the business function and/or Business Excellence Centers, as a Transport & Trade Specialist, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. In this role you will maintain and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize product and material deliveries.

    This position reports to

    Global Logistics Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Facilitating material movement and scheduling utilizing various transportation software systems, and handling customs and trade applications.
    • Preparing and updating the monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinating product delivery schedules with customers.
    • Coordinating daily activities to track finished goods and raw materials, and rerouting freight to meet demand and minimize costs.
    • Communicating status to Logistics and Sales organizations as appropriate.
    • Working with transport service providers and brokers to effectively execute processes, assisting in obtaining permits, and preparing proper documentation.
    • Aiding the development and implementation of improved processes and systems, and maintaining the master data.

    Your background

    • A Bachelor’s degree Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or any other related Engineering.
    • Knowledge in oea and ctpat, export operations and importance, virtual operations, and control of foreign trade file, sub-maquila reports.
    • 3+ years of experience.
    • Intermediate English Level.
    • A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
