    Warehouse Supervisor

    The Warehouse Supervisor plans, directs, and monitors all activities in the warehouse. Develops and manages warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking and delivery of products, systems, and services to customers.

    Warehouse Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Continuously improves warehouse operations using lean practices. Plans and optimizes warehouse utilization and inventory
    • Monitors warehouse KPI’s, open Transfer Orders, Missed Receipts, Return to Stock and other metrics on a daily basis
    • Plans and monitors the receipt, storage, picking, and delivery of orders and keeps stock control systems up to date
    • Responsible for accuracy and control of inventory for both onsite and offsite locations
    • Perform periodic cycle counting and publishing results
    • Assist in coordinating and executing physical inventory
    • Work closely with Operations on meeting shop floor expectations
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Maintain and assign training and development per the Training Matrix and GROW Model for ABB
    • Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources
    • Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
    • Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
    • Holds associates accountable per company progressive discipline policy

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field OR Associate's degree with minimum 3 years’ experience OR High School Diploma/GED minimum 5 years’ experience
    • 5 years of warehouse/manufacturing supervisory experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Lean management
    • MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
    • SAP experience highly desirable
    • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
