    You will be working as Warranty Support and will be the part of Motion business area for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible for executing medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines, delivering excellent customer service to satisfy customers, in close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB

    Your responsibilities

    • Performing medium to high complex service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repairing independently and identifying technical problems
    • Making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.) and ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Identifying new sales opportunities and taking influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio, coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities
    • Preparing standard lists for ease of work, preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative, reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed, creating standards or job durations
    • Proactively identifying potential equipment failures and taking proactive corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
    • Proactively identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discussing them with management for changes and consistently applying functional processes considering links to other teams
    • Actively ensuring that HSE practices are of high standard, working to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents, creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs

    Your background

    • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer service support
    • Fluency in English language is mandatory
