Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
Clinical Data Management Operations BPO Account Lead is responsible for all aspects of client, contract, financial and delivery for assigned contracts. They are responsible for the client expectations management, risk mitigation and management, and EACs and financial reporting. Also, responsible for all upsell related to current scope of services and for identification and participation in sales teams for new expanded BPO opportunities at clients. The BPO Account Lead drives interactions with cross functional account leadership and Accenture Operations leadership along with being responsible for shaping, driving valued transformation for the client and contributing to new or expanded BPO capabilities
Daily Responsibilities
Accountable for the overall success of the domain cluster of functions both as pertains to client delivery, as well as overall client account plan
Define strategic roadmap consistent with account plans that describes the incremental value that will be brought to the account, including the innovation agenda leveraging the internal team as needed
Understand the client’s context within the industry and competitive position
Understand the client’s business priorities and bring Accenture assets and expertise to the client aligned with these priorities
Ensures all resources and locations involved in a workflow are communicating effectively and collaborating amongst each other and with the client
Effectively identifies, raises, diagnoses, and solves for any risks or anomalies that impact the project
Ensure the right talent exists on the account to deliver to client expectations within budget and creating the infrastructure to enable talent rotation and development to support the evolution of client needs and Accenture operations strategy
Provides direction to their functional leads and regional process owners and can help provide recommendations and best practices for operational optimization, and cross utilization
Works with local site leaders, location specific workflow leaders, and global process owners to ensure new workflows and processes are launched successfully
Standardization across global centers eg. quality, policy, metrics, SLAs, innovation, people processes
Ensure differentiated outcomes are delivered to the client, in alignment with expectations, solution and contract
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 10 years of clinical data operations experience in pharma
Minimum of 7 years of operational management/people management in a R&D operations setting
Minimum of 5 years of account management experience
Professional Skill Requirements
Demonstrated ownership and or exposure to all phases and life cycle stages of a clinical trial
Direct ownership of multiple sub functions and exposure to all sub functions within clinical data operations
Strong knowledge of regulations and guidelines that apply to the conduct of clinical trials
Understanding of drug development operations beyond clinical data operations

Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
