Federal - Information Assurance Specialist

You are: 

A risk-savvy and compliance-smart expert in the industry. You stay current with the latest cyber threats and help clients spot them before they happen. You work well across technology teams to implement the latest security frameworks and put security systems and processes in place. And, when it comes to creating IT risk assessments, you tackle the design and launch with ease. 

The Work:

• Review and update Security Artifacts such as System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
• Develop test plans and assessment reports in support of system authorization
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and interpret risk to the client technology landscape 
• Categorize system and identified security objectives by applying appropriate information security Controls for Federal Information System’s
• Track Plan of Actions and Milestone (POA&M)s to closure 

Here is what you need:

• Ability to maintain and update one or more of the following Federal Security frameworks: FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, DIACAP and NIST SP 800 series and NIST SP 800-53
• Ability to work independently on projects & tasks

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience performing system or network administration

• Experience with the following tools: CSAM, XACTA, eMASS 

• You have one or more of the following certifications: 

• CompTIA Security+

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

• Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $61,700 – $141,599 annually and information on benefits offered is here.
