    You are:   

    The Modernization Business Analyst is responsible for developing a comprehensive knowledge of mortgage operations generally, and the VA LGY program specifically, to help develop high quality software that achieves the desired outcomes of our client. This role will create vision documents, requirements documents, user stories, test cases, test scripts, and other documents in the software development lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Elicit input from multiple stakeholders and synthesize feedback to create technical work products and drive outcomes

    • Create high quality, comprehensive work products, such as: vision and scope documents, business requirements, technical specifications, test cases, source to target mappings and test scripts

    • Contribute to maintaining an environment where continuous improvement of the development process is in focus and where everyone’s common goal is to deliver outstanding software as fast as possible

    • Help coach and teach team members. Translate and simplify requirements to better enable those less familiar with the subject matter to be successful

    • Lead meetings, facilitate sessions, and participate in agile ceremonies

    • Understand multiple integrations including the triggers, timing, directionality, and data exchanged

    • Use tools such as Postman to assist with integration testing

    • Work with developers directly to remediate defects and clarify testing objectives

    • Work with automated testing team to ensure full coverage between automated and manual functional testing

    • Work side-by-side with end users to validate requirements and resolve conflicts

    Here's what you need:

    • Experience in business analysis in mortgage or financial systems

    • Familiarity with the mortgage industry to include working knowledge of mortgage data.

    • Experience with the Agile software development methodology.

    • Proficiency with test planning, construction, and artifact management software, such as Rational Quality Manager.

    • Experience working with XML & JSON web services and flat file integrations.

    • Experience in writing or executing quality assurance test cases with a focus on (TDD) Test driven development

    Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

    Role Location:

    California: $82,400 - $133,700

    Colorado: $82,400 - $115,500
    New York City: $95,400 - $133,700

    Washington: $87,800- $122,900
