You are:
A Network Engineer who will provide network support for project/program management activities, work with teams to identify designs to meet requirements, perform implementations and operationalize new and existing functionalities in the environment. You will review the environment for efficiencies and recommend solutions to enhanced efficiency and functionality in the environment. You will ensure that solutions are compliant with the AFS security standards, all documentation is updated, and will perform/support operations during handover of new functionality.

The work:

• Designs, implements, and supports LAN/WAN networks and systems.
• Develops and maintains network system and service configurations.
• Documents and troubleshoots network and system issues.
• Creates and maintains network diagrams and documentation.
• Tests and evaluates network systems and services to reduce problems and make improvements.

Here's what you need: 

• Bachelor’s degree, with 8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ 
• Must have CCNA or higher Cisco professional certification
• Five (5) years experience with Cisco routing and switching design and configuration
• Three (3) years experience deploying and managing encryption devices
• Three (3)years experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio

Bonus points if you have: 

• Experience with network management and monitoring toolsets such as NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds, etc.
• Familiar with Windows server configuration and operation
• Experience maintaining network baseline configurations
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Familiarity with Classified Computing and Information Assurance best practices
• Possess Cisco CCNP or or CISSP equivalent industry certification
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.     

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role   

California: $105,200 - $168,400  

Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500  

New York City: $121,700 - $168,400 

Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
