You Are:

The Senior Contract Management Lead organizes, manages, and directs Contract Management Team activities to deliver cradle-to-grave support in accordance with AFS Contract Management Manual. The responsibilities will include coaching, managing personnel issues, performance achievement, balancing workload distribution, training new joiners, T&E approvals, and quality control. S/He will act as the first line of escalation for Contract Management personnel regarding risk, issues, and complex strategies regarding Pre-award work. The Senior Contract Management Lead will also coordinate cross-discipline and cross-portfolio Collaboration with his/her Contract Management counterparts. They will serve as the Client Account Level Leadership point of contact for contracts supported his/her team and will provide individual Contract Manager responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the business.

The Work:

Responsible for the management and delivery of all opportunities by ensuring the Team:

  • Performs in accordance with the AFS Contract Management Manual, contract terms, policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Reviews and identifies contract risks to ensure that risks are appropriated identified, communicated internally, and mitigated

  • Prepares and disseminates Solicitations and Amendments to appropriate parties

  • Escalates matters via the Consultation Call as appropriate

  • Achieves a reasonable level of understanding of Accenture’s major offerings in order to communicate effectively with project managers and Managing Directors and provide relevant advice.

  • Practices the 5 C’s:  Communicate, Collaborate, Consult, Cross-check, with Courage

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Assigns work to the personnel supporting the CM Team

  • Supervises and manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel

  • Sets performance standards, evaluates work performance, and takes action to recognize excellence and to correct deficiencies for staff and/or Career Counselees

Cross-Function, Inter-Discipline Collaboration

  • Responsible for collaborating with CMs across the organization and other corporate functions

  • Identifies growth and capability needs for CM and project personnel

  • Provides ad hoc or new joiner training to Contract Management personnel and project personnel as needed

Here Is What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or 7 years of equivalent industry experience

  • Experience with contract management

  • Experience with supervising a team

Bonus Points If:

  • Advanced Degree

  • 10+ years of industry experience

  • Experience with federal government consulting

  • Professional certification (e.g., CMCP, CACM IAACM, etc.)

  • Ability to travel when required

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $117,400 - $167,200  and information on benefits offered is here.
