You are:

A Cyber Security professional and enthusiast, who is seeking opportunities to evolve his/her craft by understanding latest cyber threats and help clients identify intrusion in their respective environments. In order to effectively do this, you leverage cutting edge Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) data analytics, as well as network/endpoint detection and response technologies for investigating any malicious activity in customer’s on-prem and cloud environments.

The work:

• Active participant in 24x7 operations, specific to 10 Hour Days shifts. This includes proactively monitoring and providing near real time cyber security status and reports to enable timely decision making for 24 7 operations.

• Operate with direction to investigate and escalate in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.

• Perform investigative functions involving strong network engineering or Operating System level skills.

• Participate in working group sessions to include idea generation for new content creation to be shared with the team.

• Utilize documented procedures with an eye toward process improvement and operational efficiency.

Here’s what you need:

• Two (2) years’ experience in security and/or IT

• Experience handling incident response and/or troubleshooting

Bonus points if:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience with using one or more of the following tools: Splunk, , Tanium, FireEye, CrowdStrike Security , WireShark, FTK, Onion, Snort, , Powershell and Python.

• Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) certification or CompTIA CySA+ (Prior to start date) AND (within 6 months of hire) any from the CSSP Analyst, Infrastructure Support, or IR from the DOD 8570 list (or other similar certifications as approved by Government)

• Certifications:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker

  • SANS GIAC Certifications

  • DFIR related Certifications

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $65,200-$87,800and information on benefits offered is here.
