Security professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications, and data by establishing policies, practices, and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or disruption. The Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) is responsible for conducting digital media investigations that are compliant with forensic best practices. As a Summer Analyst in Information Security your daily responsibilities will vary, but you can expect to:

·       Contribute to a global network of talented IT consultants across the business, enabling high-performance by creating and delivering Accenture’s business applications and technology infrastructure.

·       Collaborate and innovate to connect our people with the technology they need to build market relevant skills and be impactful to the business.

·       Assist in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, their supporting technologies

Responsibilities May Include:

·       Creating forensic images of hard drives

·       Cataloging electronic media

·       Forensic hard drive duplication

·       Data recovery

·       Perform forensic analysis on electronic media

·       Malware analysis

Job Requirements

·       Must complete 10 week summer analyst program in our Chicago office from June to August

Basic Qualifications:

Accenture Analysts are forward-thinking, well-rounded people with a record of outstanding academic performance and high learning agility. We are looking for individuals who can work in an open and entrepreneurial way.

·       Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the following areas:

• Computer Forensics/ Digital Forensics
• Information Security / Cyber Security
• Computer Science

·       Graduation date of December 2023 to June 2024​

Preferred Qualifications:

·       High-level knowledge of laws related to computer intrusions and data privacy requirements

·       Analytical mindset

·       Detail-oriented

·       Familiarity of the Windows OS

·       Understanding of data networking and computer hardware

·       Ability to manipulate and present data using MS Excel and Power Point

Professional Skills:

• Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role 

California: $49,788 - $138,600

Colorado: $49,788 - $119,800

New York City: $57,625 - $138,600

Washington: $53,015 - $127,500
