You Are:

The Procurement Practice Senior Analyst within Logistics Practice has responsibility for supporting the delivery of category management services to customer’s including but not limited to stakeholder management, strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, price management, savings/compliance reporting, supply market monitoring, and issue resolution. In this capacity, you will help with the development of strategic category plans, which ensure optimal productivity, as well as participate in procurement activities which address client metrics and contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  Procurement Category Senior Analyst’s also have responsibility for coordinating the execution & delivery of sourcing projects to achieve cost savings for the client.

The Work:

• Collect data and required information to perform analysis that will contribute to the establishment and progress of procurement strategies and projects

• Interface with customer stakeholders and project teams on progress, barriers and new opportunities as well as skills in dealing with the customer on normal day-to-day activities

• Support total cost of ownership analyses for the evaluation of continuous cost improvement projects

• Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to support sourcing and category management and other procurement-related activities

• Support sales & business development, spend & contract analysis and category planning activities

• Assist in the development of customer reports for category specific savings results

• Perform numerous problem-solving functions to ensure customer satisfaction with Accenture’s services

• Develop good working relationships with customer stakeholders at both the corporate and business unit level

• Support supply market research for your relevant categories

Here's what you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a strategic sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain function specifically within Logistics Services

Bonus Points If:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement

• Post-graduate Degree preferred

• Ability to effectively lead procurement projects like: tender process, incumbent negotiation…

• Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, savings opportunity assessment)

• Formal experience/exposure to Category Management

• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)

• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal including formal presentation skills.

• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Adaptable communication ability to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

• The ideal candidate must possess a desire to learn and deliver as a true team player

Travel: 

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $58,600 – $120,000

Colorado: $58,600 – $103,700

New York City: $67,900 – $120,000

Washington: $62,400 – $110,400
