    Job Description

    The Payroll and Operation Senior Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing the tax notices in the Tax notice Log as well ensuring all the notices are entered into the log and closed in a timely manner.

    The ideal candidate is results oriented, detailed, motivated, and committed to provide outstanding customer service every day.

    Responsibilities:

    • An acquisition specialist responsibility must have strong analytical and research skills, be a good communicator and be able to identify and resolve problems.

    • Work closely with outside third-party vendors to manage the Transfer of Experience Process.

    • Attend weekly calls regarding the Ventures and Acquisitions to gather the historical reports from the Target payroll company.

    • Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state and local agencies

    • Reconcile payroll tax reporting after each pay run to ensure accurate filings by tax service provider

    • Manage filing of tax reports

    • Monitor quarterly tax filing

    • Reconcile US payroll taxes to the general ledger and book journal entries

    • Respond to tax questions from Federal and State agencies

    • Reconcile cash activity to Payroll and tax service provider

    • Reconcile payroll reports to 941 and W2s

    • Review and update internal process documents as needed

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years experience – preferably in a large multi-business company

    • Associate degree/College Diploma (+/- 13 years)

    • High School diploma and some College

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree, FPC, CPP

    • Payroll, Finance, Accounting

    • ​Proficiency with Office 10 - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

    • Basic US payroll employment tax knowledge/experience

    Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

    Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role 

    California: $49,800 – $120,600 

    Colorado:  $49,800 - $87,600

    New York City: $57,600 - $120,600

    Washington: $53,000  – $111,000
