Digital Products creates value for our clients, their employees, and their customers. We design and build software that changes the way people work and live. Our team collaborates across studio locations in Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, and Seattle with 300+ employees across the US and Canada. With expertise in product strategy, project management, QA, design thinking, user-experience design/research, and impeccable development for native mobile, web, and embedded systems, we will help bring clarity to any omni-channel product vision.

Job Description:

You’re methodical. You have strong analytical skills, a penchant for collaborative problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail. You know the difference between priority and severity but can sympathize when they both feel urgent to someone. Maybe running a full regression helps you sleep a little easier at night. You meet challenges head-on and take pride in following through. On your watch, nothing gets out the door until it’s solid -- and that’s what drives you.

The work:

  • Define, document, and implement comprehensive test cases, test plans, and testing processes on a per-project basis
  • Identify, document, and appropriately escalate bugs or technical problems
  • Evangelize and champion a best-in-class QA process for the benefit of our team and our clients
  • Work with project management to define test strategy at an organizational level
  • As part of a larger launch team, approve and sign off on application release candidates
  • Work with the development team to establish and document release quality standards
  • Participate on multiple projects at once and maintain a steadily flowing test queue
  • Maintain a growing library of test devices
  • Maintain and update a running list of supported devices and OSes, as well as known inconsistencies that may present as bugs on each
  • Author and execute manual tests
  • Accurately estimate and communicate timing impact of assigned tasks
  • Participates in user story creation collaborates with designers, developers, and project manager to ensure all user stories have the necessary acceptance criteria, and any other edge cases, or other clarifications are taken care of
  • Responsible for organizing testing efforts between teams of QA testers
  • Communicate status and results of testing efforts outlining any concerns, blockers, or risk factors project have may

Here’s what you need:

  • 4+ years working in a QA capacity on a mobile app, website, or related project
  • 1+ years leading other QA testers
  • 1+ years interfacing with external clients or internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

Bonus points if:

  • Understand the SDLC within an Agile environment
  • Ability to author and execute both automated and manual tests
  • Identify and establish test cases & plans to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
  • Possess basic coding experience with an understanding of application flow and logical hierarchy inherent in object-oriented programming, ability to observe patterns and help diagnose minor bugs a plus
  • Experienced Interfacing with and directing test efforts of offshore QA team

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $87k - $129,800k and information on benefits offered is here.
