Depending on your role on a project, you may be asked to travel 25%-75%. 

As a Scientific Informatics Analyst, you will start with intensive training through our Scientific Consultant Development Program (SCDP). During your first 12-18 months in this role, the focus will be on gaining skills across many functional areas required to become a successful Scientific Informatics Consultant.  After the initial training period you will continue to grow your career and increase your skills and experience in various areas.

The Work: 

·        You will use digital technologies such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), Scientific Data Management Systems (SDMS), and Quality Management Systems (QMS)  

·        You will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud  

·        You will learn management consulting and design-thinking techniques as you work on the fundamental redesign of the scientific user experience 

·        You will help ASIS client organizations better capture, handle, integrate and analyze complex scientific data 

·        You will contribute to the discovery and manufacturing of new products, reduce time to market, improve quality and compliance, and increase operational efficiencies

Here’s What You Need: 3 Options!    

Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) PLUS some knowledge of coding concepts in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Pascal, PHP, Perl, VB, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Java (8 or 11) 

OR 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science PLUS strong scientific / life science experience in an academic or professional setting (e.g., Minor in laboratory science, laboratory research experience, laboratory internship, or professional role) 

 
OR 

 
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within Laboratory Sciences / Life Sciences (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering) PLUS some knowledge of coding concepts in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Pascal, PHP, Perl, VB, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Java (8 or 11)  Bonus points if you have: 

• An advanced degree in a relevant field, as mentioned above 

• Experience working in a scientific lab setting 

• Excellent listening and communication skills 

• Leadership ability 

Questions about travel? As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $66,000 - $82,499 and information on benefits offered is here.
