Title: Security Tool Architect

An innovator and problem-solver. You’re an expert when it comes to protecting on-prem and cloud-based systems. And you can configure and deploy any security tool that comes across your desk. While staying on your toes, you design customized and cutting-edge solutions. You know security solutioning requires knowledge of infrastructure, trusted applications, continuous monitoring proper implementation of security appliances and virtual machines.  You understand who or what is connecting to the network and how to properly implement security frameworks such as Access Control and Zero Trust.

The work:

Responsible for the cybersecurity posture and delivery of services protecting the clients Enterprise Information Technology Services EITS and systems. Includes the operation and continued innovation of cybersecurity services that minimally meet Federal and Departmental guidance. The scope of services include PKI IAM Ping, Security Monitoring Operations, Network Infrastructure Monitoring Security SOC, Assessment Authorization, Information Assurance, Vulnerability Management, Incident response, Risk Management Framework compliance, Continuous Monitoring, Threat Mitigation Remediation, and forensic support. Provide security architecture SME support of new or changed EITS services. Establish and maintain effective and positive client relationships and project governance.

Here's what you need:

• Minimum 5 years of cyber and/or IT experience and Bachelor's Degree OR an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

• Hands on experience designing, integrating, deploying, and configuring security tools

• Experience interacting with Client leadership 

• Experience leading teams 

Bonus Points if you have:

Familiarity with the NIST 800, FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework, Security Controls, and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) operating standards and applicable guidelines

• You have one or more of the following certifications:

  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • Networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper)

  • Security Tools (Splunk, Carbon Black, Cylance, McAfee, Tenable, FireEye, CrowdStrike, ELK, Forescout)

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $108,200 - $151,600 and information on benefits offered is here.
