    Position summary

    Technical Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP seeks Technical Architecture Manager in Chicago, IL, to handle operation initiatives, while working with relevant cloud platforms, and having significant knowledge of the applications within this portfolio. S/he will perform the following duties: Technical direction/leadership for all applications in a portfolio, both for initiative and operations; Guide development teams and propose industry-leading technical architecture solutions to complex problems; Responsible for recommending the software type and platform for all new applications and for major revisions on existing applications; Guiding the development teams both in skilling up for any proposed solution and in overcoming challenges while deploying the solution; Supporting operations team by joining any escalations/incident calls for operations troubleshooting; Present to the Enterprise Architecture Review Board.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), or in a related IT field plus 6 years of post-baccalaureate experience in Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer or in a related position including the following professional experience: 4 years of experience managing search technologies, such as Aspire, that are used to design, implement solutions, and resolve issues for enterprise applications; 4 years of experience in design technology stack for improvements or initiatives for enterprise applications, based on knowledge of relevant technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Elasticsearch, Angular, and Qlik; 4 years of experience in cross-application integration and Workflow with other members of the technical architecture team in the enterprise organization; 4 years of experience consulting on technical architecture work for enterprise applications and guiding technical modernization efforts for enterprise applications, such as modernizing Cloud infrastructure; 6 years of development experience in relevant coding languages (such as .NET, JavaScript); 2 years of experience developing in SaaS/PaaS platforms on either AWS or Azure (such as Azure SQL, SharePoint, Teams, Elasticsearch).

    Telecommuting is permitted for this role; need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
