Role overview

The Director of Talent Acquisition, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, plays a critical role in this effort and is responsible for establishing and executing talent acquisition programs to strengthen Accolade’s capabilities in attracting, assessing, and selecting the right talent to meet current and future business needs.   

The ideal candidate will be a have expertise leading a team of Talent Acquisition partners and coordinators to meet company-wide hiring goals in a high growth industry. The Director of Talent Acquisition serves as a member of the People and Culture (P&C) leadership team and will be called upon to be leader across the P&C function.

A day in the life…

  • Drive the end-to-end process of the recruiting lifecycle ensuring a great candidate and manager experience
  • Provide thoughtful leadership regarding the use of Technology to drive scale, efficiency, and innovation throughout the recruiting lifecycle
  • Utilize data/analytics to influence workforce strategy in a variety of categories including job locations, sourcing strategy, as well as understanding the overall employee lifecycle from acquisition, on-boarding, and performance
  • Implement scorecards, KPI’s to view overall effectiveness of the function
  • Drive a variety of sourcing strategies to ensure Accolade achieves their business results including sourcing early career candidates, diverse candidates and candidates with healthcare expertise
  • Lead, manage, and develop the recruiting team to drive outstanding results for the business

What we are looking for…

  • 10 years of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or related experience; minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing and recruiting for both high volume seasonal hiring and niche roles in a fast-growth company
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Technologies with Workday preferred
  • Experience in building workforce/location strategies to build effective talent acquisition strategies
  • Be an active participant as part of the HR Leadership team for the firm contributing to all aspects of human capital strategies
  • Results Oriented: high energy, positive attitude, and drive to get things done
  • Collaboration: relates well with others, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and leverages insights to guide critical business decisions, keep others informed of what is going on and asks for input and participates in meetings with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Challenges the status quo stays current on trends and research and continually seeks new opportunities to apply different approaches to attract and hire the right people
  • Analytical: ability to generate and analyze accurate metrics, hard and soft data that regularly informs the work, and report to leadership. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations and data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Technology proficiency: social media savvy and experience in using multiple recruiting strategies and sources including advanced use of social networking sites, for passive and active candidate recruitment
  • +/- 25% Travel required

Preferred

  • Thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation
  • Experience brokering(overseeing) business agreements and contracts with recruiting vendors
  • Experience with skill development and organizational analysis framework
  • Excellent interpersonal, counseling and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentations skills
