    As a Staff Accountant II, you'll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. Our Staff Accountants have the opportunity to work closely with our business operations and broader finance organization supporting best practices for the company.

    What you'll do:

    • Perform month-end account closing activities and journal entries as well as variance analysis

    • Complete bank reconciliations

    • Maintain and update balance sheet account reconciliations supporting GAAP compliance

    • Post loan related activity and reconcile to third party reporting

    • Prepare and post Accounts Receivable activity

    • Support external audit in compiling reports, schedules and conducting research

    • Respond to investor inquiries and research and resolve variances timely

    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

    • Participate as a support role to other team members and on special projects

    What you'll bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    • 2+ years of strong general ledger experience

    • Must be results-oriented, able to manage timelines and proactively communicate to various team members

    • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and drive to deliver high-quality work

    • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills required

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment

    • Experience in the financial services industry a plus

    • Experience with Oracle Fusion, NLS, and Salesforce a plus

    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a remote environment

    Salary Range: $53,445.00 to $96,200 annually + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
