IT Services is responsible for contributing to the development, tracking, reporting and analysis of IT budget. This team member will act as liaison between IT and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) on IT financial matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with all aspects of the annual IT budget and budget management
Assist with analytical work, involving the identification, compilation, documentation, analysis, and reporting of IT expenditures, for purposes of expense/headcount tracking, project costing and show-back reporting
Assist IT personnel, and FP&A, with finance related inquiries/requests, including, but not limited to requisitions, purchase orders, SOWs, funding documents, and reforecasts
Work in a collaborative and constructive manner with internal stakeholders and various business units to complete tasks with time sensitive deadlines
Assist in the development of ad hoc analysis and presentations for upper level management
Assist in the creation, maintenance and analysis of budget related spreadsheets
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business, Business Management, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems or similar area of study with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
Junior or Senior classification preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Previous internships are considered a plus.
