    Responsibilities

    JOB DUTIES

    • The PO acts proactively to consistently deliver on commitments with little supervision

    • Understand the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the organization, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements that provide remarkable customer experiences.

    • Influences others by creating a participative, empowered environment to gain acceptance of ideas or plans using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods

    • Measure product performance using key information, processes and systems to ensure accountability for achieving business results

    • Contribute to successful, continuous and on time delivery of product roadmaps, by identifying risks and developing and recommending mitigation strategies.

    • Lead the backlog prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results

    • Perform data analysis on key product metrics to quickly understand customer interaction and areas of opportunity

    • Identifies, evaluates and introduces new approaches/technology to use in product development

    • Explore alternative ways to view and solve problems to achieve results beyond what is required

    • Leverage innovation tools, creative processes, and diverse cross-functional experts to generate ideas

    • Focus on constantly improving processes, products, and services and exploring innovative ways to do the job

    • Create novel solutions with measurable value for existing and potential customers (internal or external)

    • Lead the high-level prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results.

    • Prepares product documents and provides stakeholders with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise

    • Participate in the planning and features by combining customer needs and insights with quantifiable business cases to establish program roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership and key stakeholders.

    • Work with the Agile team to craft high quality customer-centric user stories that exceed customer expectations

    • Influence and nurture a team of indirect team members charged with implementing the product roadmap.

    • Identify optimization opportunities for continuous product improvement.

    • Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    What Makes You A Dream Candidate?

    • Working knowledge of risk management, loss control management and coordinating vendor relationships

    • Deep understanding of and experience in product management, software product lifecycle, roadmapping, and agile methodologies

    • Experience working within a matrix organization and collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience teams, project managers, developers, etc.

    • A proven track record of project execution, completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget

    • Working knowledge of the Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts and best practices and how they are applied in the workplace

    • Experience working within a matrix organization, collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience teams, project managers, product managers, developers and others

    Skills

    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights

    • Ability to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performance

    • Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level

    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skills

    • Excellent skills creating and managing a roadmap of features and enhancements.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Excellent oral/written communication skills.

    • Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.

    • Excellent presentation skills.

    • Salesforce experience a plus.

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    • Bachelor's Degree or additional equivalent work or military experience preferred

    Experience

    • 4-6 years experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile Scrum team required

    Licenses

    • Agile Certification (PSPO or CSP-PO or POPM/APM) required

    • Advanced Agile Certification preferred
