    With a passion to work at the intersection of data, business, and technology and to drive innovative data protection and remediation solutions, the successful candidate must be ambitious, self-motivated, with an inquisitive and innovative approach to learn quickly and drive impactful solutions to an evolving data risk team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Data Security and Risk Manager in establishing and monitoring effective data risk operating procedures in support of key data discovery and remediation activities. This will require the candidate to interpret and analyze risk data using appropriate technologies, models, and tools for explaining. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be data curious and be willing to dive in and thoroughly understand the ADP data landscape and support the management of that data.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Governance Data Analyst at ADP.**

    • Collaboration and partnership across a diverse group of stakeholders including Information Security, Risk Operations, Compliance, Privacy, Legal and Data Governance.

    • Coordinate data scanning activities across ADP product departments, coordinating configuration, scanning, monitoring, and maintenance processes and well as support risk/issue resolution.

    • Develop metrics to measure effectiveness and drive adoption of Data Discovery and management tooling.

    • Identify and track remediation activities and issues resulting from data discovery and other data protection risks

    • Manage data discovery remediation workflows across the global technology landscape

    • Implement and enforce processes and policies that support data security and protect sensitive data-at-rest, in-motion, and in-transit

    • Collaborate with the business to identify sensitive, high value data (e.g., consumer data, sensitive data) and ensure appropriate rules and policies are applied to protect

    • Maintain data inventories and data flow mappings, specifically for sensitive/high value data

    • Define data security controls and requirements and support control operationalization

    • Coordinate collection, review, and prioritization of business requirements for integration with ADP applications e.g., Service Now

    • Support ad hoc CDO (Chief Data Office) data related projects as well as establishing new and/or improving existing processes

    • You will be providing your guidance and expertise with regards to data risk discovery, governance, and data management best practices.

    • Ability to execute on tactically on strategic imperatives

    TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

    You will have:

    • You will have at 8+ yearsof Data analysis / Data Security / Data Risk experience

    • Excellent SQL skills to support data discovery strategies

    • Strong understanding in at least 2 of the following areas:
      - Data Governance tools, processes, and procedures- Data lifecycle and protection of data throughout

      • Industry standard frameworks, DCAM(Data Management Capability Assessment Model) and NIST
    • Communicate complex risks to teams and leadership.

    • Provide input to model governance and model monitoring process, identify opportunities and communicate preventative governance

    • Prepare, report and communicate risk review reports in consideration to compliance, standards, accuracy and management

    • Build trusted relationships with product owners, users, cross organizational teams developing sustainable remediation processes.

    • Participate in the analysis, solutioning of risk reduction and preventative risk management.

    • Knowledge in encryption, key management, and security policies is advantageous.

    • Experience in Security Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management Methodologies

    • Data classification, labelling, and data usage

    • Prefer one (or more) industry certifications in Information Security and Risk Management such as CISSP, GSEC, CISA, ISO lead auditor, etc.

    • Must have demonstrated abilities with work across diverse teams, security and technology engagements from concept to delivery and understanding of security operations and risk management.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), ability to influence without authority

    • Works well under pressure within time/budget constraints to solve problems, meet objectives, and adjust quickly to shifting priorities

    • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, particularly in leading or contributing to geographically diverse and cross-functional teams

    • Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance

    • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff

    • Ability to adapt and thrive in a unique and advanced technical environment, leveraging available global resources and evolving engineering products to facilitate task completion and supplement team capabilities
