Job Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating departmental activities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of the department. This individual oversees teammates daily functions and ensures implementing of policies and procedures for a successful work environment. The Inventory Control Coordinator models an example of positive leadership and collaborative team environment by encouraging collaboration, integrating opportunities, and getting the most out of your team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Directly monitors the daily inventory control functions which include: quality assurance, new locations, manual reservations, inventory adjustments, Relabel Program, relocations, bin location audits, inventory control reports, damaged product and cubing
Must be flexible to work overtime and/or weekends
Identifies work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow through written and verbal instruction
Assigns duties and oversees work for accuracy, ensures policies and procedures are being exceeded
Reviews and addresses individual productivity results with team member
Routinely observes the workflow throughout the department
Maintains and monitors a clean and safe work environment
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to adapt well to a changing environment
Attention to detail
Ability to think strategically and constructively in a team setting
Willingness to seek knowledge and skills beyond present position to prepare for greater responsibility
Capable of efficiently handling more than one project at a time
Excellent attendance record
