    AES Clean Energy (AES CE) is seeking a forward-thinking Manager, Business Systems Integration to join our growing organization. In this position, you will lead the administration, analysis, and ongoing development of our business systems integration to support our rapidly growing business. AES CE, a division of The AES Corporation, specializes in developing, owning, and operating renewable energy projects.     The Continuous Improvement (CI) team is the horizontal thread that ties together the vertical teams within AES CE to drive coordination, collaboration, communications, and efficiencies by applying system level processes and optimization to keep the full company focused and aligned. The Manager, Business Systems Integration will administer and maintain our cloud platform integrations that unify, empower, and enable all aspects of our business. In addition, this role will guide and develop new integrations as we add new solutions. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze and organize information, research new capabilities, inform best practices, and continually improve processes, workflows, and automations. This position will provide technical guidance to the CI team to refine business requirements and lead our junior analysts as the team grows. This position will be based in the AES CE Louisville, Colorado office and reports to the Enterprise Architect. Alternate locations (Salt Lake City, or remote) can be considered.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical guidance to the CI team to refine business requirements and develop new scalable integration solutions
    • Concurrently work on multiple initiatives to further integrate and automate our business systems to provide end-to-end project lifecycle management
    • Research new methodologies and solutions to meet our growing needs and assure we stay nimble and competitive
    • Administer and maintain the current business systems integration solutions by monitoring routine and critical integrations and proactively identifying problem trends
    • Troubleshoot integration issues and create best practices to prevent future issues
    • Participate in the creation of best practice documentation, process/workflow mapping, and user guides
    • Provide support and guidance to a growing team of junior analysts as our team expands rapidly
    • Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, such as motivating team to achieve organizational goals, delegating tasks to team members, defining and implementing timelines, etc.
    • Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Cloud based Business Systems integrations. Familiarity working with Python, JavaScript, JSON, and API for Cloud Integrations (Workato preferred). HTML/CSS, XML, and PHP a bonus.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. BI tools experience required (Power BI preferred)
    • Strong Data Analysis and Modeling experience and understanding of data structures
    • Broad technical acumen including comfort with relational databases, and data structures (Quickbase experience preferred)
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance, prioritize, and manage multiple projects of differing priorities and deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of the organization. Create comprehensive and accurate documentation
    • Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment and a strong sense of accountability in an environment committed to continuous improvement and agile development

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
