The Cloud Platform Engineer IV will provide strong technical leadership and guidance in deploying and delivering various Azure services.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations are Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties And Responsibilities
Designs, builds, manages, and operate Azure Core Services with automation and infrastructure as code
Designs, builds, manages, and operates the continuous delivery framework and tools, manages, and automates the lifecycle of the different platform components and helps support product teams
Leads a team's engineering practices around test driven and continuous delivery of infrastructure
Integrate different components and develop new services with prioritized focus on customer needs
Evaluates performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity; and establish scalability plans
Identifies and troubleshoots availability and performance issues at layers of Azure Services and on-prem
Recommends and maintains azure policies, governance, cost management guidance and guardrails
Create and document low-level designs, as built and standards on confluence
Collaborate with Solution architecture, Platform engineering and Product teams for delivering solutions
Work within a project management/agile scrum teams in a leading role as part of a wider team
Required Qualifications
Hands on experience deploying Azure Enterprise-scale reference architecture and its components
Experience in Full stack Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Application Knowledge
Ability to work in an Extreme Programming environment and work in a paired programming/engineering model
Able to facilitate diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targets
Hands on experience with IaC tools like ADO, ARM, terraform, ansible, PowerShell, python, AZ cli, GitHub
Design, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes environments using AKS
Technical expertise in Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/AKS, SQL and N0-SQL DB's, IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, Data, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Identity and Connectivity
Worked in DevOps and Agile
8+ years of IT experience focused on infrastructure which includes server, storage, network, security, Identity
4+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating Azure environments in enterprise environments
3+ years of experience of with IaC tools (ARM, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell, GitHub etc...)
Certification in Azure Administrator
At least 4 years of hands-on technical experience supporting the following or related experience:
Azure Virtual Network, VWAN, Express route, Load Balancer (L4/L7), Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure DNS, routing & routing protocols like BGP, firewall concepts
Azure Identity including any of the following: Azure AD, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure AD Connect, Password less sign-ins, Microsoft Defender, key vault
Azure Governance, Security, Monitoring, Workbooks, Compliance, and cost awareness
Azure Virtual Machines, Containers and/or Kubernetes and/or OpenShift (infrastructure perspective)
Azure Storage Account, Disk, Snapshot, Backup, Site Recovery, file sync, Data Lake
Preferred Qualifications
Azure Certifications ( Azure DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect, etc...)
Salary Range: $136,160 - $204,240

This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
