    Position summary

    Job Description

    Alight’s Advisory and Change Management practice supports clients to maximize the value of their investments in transformation programs, particularly cloud-based Human Capital Management and Financials-enabling technologies such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Cornerstone OnDemand. With particular emphasis on digital transformation, the team’s consultants rely on user-centric, data-driven techniques to ensure that our clients can introduce and sustain new ways of working. As part of our Advisory and Change Management practice, you will work to enable our clients’ success through daily use of digital technologies. We are looking for a highly motivated consultant to join our team in India.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As an Advisory Consultant your main tasks / responsibilities will include:

    • Change Management

      • Perform Stakeholder and Change Impact Analysis.

      • Design, build and execute Change Management Plans.

      • Create communication content and materials based on Client specific requirements (e.g. e-mails, teasers, info packs and newsletters).

      • Build training materials (e.g. videos, quick cards and process guides).

      • Deliver train the trainer and/or end user training sessions (classroom or remote).

    • HR Processes Analysis and Optimization

      • Support client transformations and adoption of HR platforms by conducting / assisting process review and redesign.

      • Help our customer to simplify, align or optimize their HR process, balancing their needs and contemporary practices across HR Processes.

      • Support client on realigning the Client´s HR Operating Model to new processes

      • Review and strengthen change management plans and activities to support the changes

    • HR Scan & Roadmap

      • Assist in the definition of HR vision and direction to support large and small-scale client transformations, based on business requirements, business strategy, market options and current system landscape.

      • Play a key role in analysis of benefits and risks of each future scenario and technology landscape.

      • Play a key role in reviewing the client's HR Technology Landscape and perform logical comparison of options to build recommendations for clients.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

    Required

    • Excellent project management and communication skills (i.e., presentation, facilitation, prioritization)

    • Ability to remain flexible, quickly learn and adapt

    • Motivated self-starter with strong time management skills

    • Aptitude to work collaboratively in an agile environment, while getting work done with a team of functionally diverse SMEs

    • Strong skills in MS Office applications

    • 10+ years of relevant work experience related to change management and/or business transformation

    • Exposure to training design and delivery related to HR and/or Financial systems, including self-service tools

    • Familiarity with change management methodologies related to cloud-based technology adoption

    • Ability to work virtual from home or in an Alight office environment.

    • Travel will vary by project. However, as this is a client-facing role, travel of 15-30% may be needed during peak periods.

    Preferred

    • Certifications such as Prosci, APMG, Design Thinking etc.

    • Experience supporting deployments of cloud-based Human Capital Management and Financials-enabling technologies such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Cornerstone OnDemand

    • Transformation or Change Management experience directly related to cloud-based technology adoption

    • Familiarity with HR and/or Finance Transformation
