Serve as a part of an IT operations management (ITOM) team in a fast-paced Web application environment supporting the Alight Federal business. Work with the customers and internal IT team to comprehend requirements and provide recommendations based on New Relic and xMatters system capabilities, industry best practices, and the preferred outcome. Work in a dynamic, large team and environment supporting the business, using next-generation tools, standards, and processes, including AWS, ServiceNow, New Relic, xMatters, Terraform, and operating in an Agile environment.

What You’ll Do:

• New Relic and xMatters product technical subject matter expert and implementation engineer.
• Deploy and support the implementation of New Relic and xMatters for Federal IT and business.
• Partners with business and IT operations stakeholders to define, prioritize and implement New Relic or xMatters operational product needs and enhancements.
• Leads sessions to gather, define, and document business and technical requirements with internal IT.
• Implements features and supports the following New Relic products: New Relic APM, Browser, Synthetics, Infrastructure, Cloud Integrations, Network Performance monitoring and integrations with ServiceNow and xMatters.
• Support the enhance New Relic integration with ServiceNow Event Management and xMatters
• Build New Relic dashboards for internal IT and the business for consumption of key KPI metrics.
• Responsible for New Relic and xMatters product agent upgrades.
• Forges strong, collaborative relationships and build consensus among competing stakeholders across business and IT peers, leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creates and maintains New Relic and xMatters technical requirements, design, and runbook documentation to support team members.
• Proactive identification of tasks to mitigate operational risks.
• Advising and researching on New Relic or xMatters tools and features.
• Resolution of incidents and implementation of changes tasks associated with New Relic and xMatters.
• Maintaining Terraform scripts for deployment of New Relic products.
• Member of on-call rotation supporting a 24*7 environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Demonstrates and can show proven experience with supporting and implementing New Relic products, at least 1 year experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting and technical debugging skills.
• .Basic Knowledge of ServiceNow platform for Event Management
• ITIL proven experience.
• Experience operating in a Linux and Windows environment.
• Experience operating Amazon Web Services (AWS) services environment and knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, including PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of JSON and REST API’s.
• Teamwork ability. Must be good team player.
• Strong Organizational skills and excellent work ethic.
