Position summary
The NOC Engineer will work as a team member of a global network team, which manages network devices on a worldwide basis including firewalls, switches, routers and load balancer/reverse-proxy. The engineer will mainly work on designing and implementing projects as well as implementing complex change request. Another responsibility will be to act as an escalation point for the Network Operation Team to help resolving complex issues.
Essential Duties
Configuration, maintenance and optimization of the corporate global network and voice infrastructure.
Experience/Proven knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
MPLS, VPN, Ethernet technologies knowledge.
Switches/firewalls administration knowledge.
Routing protocols knowledge: OSPF, BGP, RIP
Iptel knowledge and experience (Cisco/Avaya/Mitel)
Switching protocols knowledge.
Ability to operate in a 24 x 5 team schedule + on call services
