Product Manager is responsible for the life cycle management and on-going support within the Alight Clinical Navigation product function. The Product Manager will be involved in all aspects of the product life cycle from market analysis to requirements development to product building to go-to-market activities. The Product Manager will also assist with ongoing product-related support, including both new feature/enhancement requests and software fixes.

Primary job duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned products and initiatives, their roadmap, lifecycle plans, and prioritization activities for the employer-benefits market, health plans and other channel partners.
  • Product development and management focus on program design, financial and clinical value, program activation, engagement, and utilization.
  • Facilitate life-cycle development and provide support to affiliated internal groups (such as Product Development, etc.) regarding the development, testing, and release of new products and/or new features and enhancements to existing products.
  • Manage various product-related projects from beginning to end, oftentimes working with multiple groups and a predetermined delivery schedule.
  • Identification of unsolved problems in market space requiring product extensions or by evaluating current and changing market trends and products, including competitive analysis and pricing strategies.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of assigned products resulting in recommendations for updates that maximize market appeal and utilization.
  • Support defining financial and clinical outcome metrics and conducting research and analysis of product analytics to monitor performance and guide plans and strategies of the team.
  • Coordinate with operational integration activities across functional teams as needed.
  •  Conduct internal training and obtain feedback regarding product performance.

Knowledge and skills:

  • At least 3-5 years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare, health insurance, or employer benefit environment a major plus with experience delivering solutions through multiple modalities: web, mobile, live phone
  • Keen attention to detail and deadline-driven. Strategic thinker, self-starter, process oriented, and have an eye for executing on the details which make Products special.
  • Ability to guide the organization and collaborators to execute on product initiatives with accountability and ownership for delivering on Product vision.
  • Ensures solutions meet the market and client needs. Ability to anticipate the needs of end-users to ensure a robust solution that drives high utilization and user satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate on project plans, with internal team members, and external vendors, as required
  • Product champion; ability to enthusiastically promote projects to your team, the company, current customers, and future prospects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact/work within own and other teams
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent project management, time management, planning, organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills is required with ability to complete tasks on-time in a high-pressure environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Health Administration, or other benefits-related field preferred

Alight takes into consideration the candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data and internal equity.
