Position summary

Main responsibilities

  • As a Professional Services sales team member, you will have responsibility for revenue growth in a defined new business geographic territory by providing a consultative business-focused sales approach.

  • Lead Professional Services sales engagements with market insight and position Alight own and partner technology, deployment, consulting services, and AMS offerings into Net New named accounts.

  • Be responsible for achieving and exceeding outlined sales targets which will contribute to the aggressive, overall growth of this business. These targets are Signings and Revenue focused.

  • Contribute to the definition, the management, and development of sales pipeline in your territory of reference to accelerate Alight's market penetration.

  • Create and follow up sales leads, develop and maintain sales goals, strategies, and individual objectives.

  • Develop and maintain executive and senior management relationships in client organizations; and be viewed as a trusted advisor, leading the preparation, presentation, and closure of deals within your territory. Be viewed as a subject matter expert who will make a difference in the positioning of Alight's offerings and solutions.

  • Managing strategic and tactical sales-driven SAP relationships to facilitate lead generation, key account mapping and joint sales pipeline growth.

  • Work with North American and global pre-sales team to design and/or select the right Alight offering for each individual prospect.

  • Bring insight relating to your market to the Professional Services Digital team to further Alight's unique market position.

  • Strong command and execution of the Professional Sales Process and Cycle.
  • Ability to develop and manage high-value, complex sales to drive win-win outcomes-customer, partners/SAP, and Alight.
  • Strong influencing skill spanning both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a multi-cultural open-minded approach.
  • Commercial knowledge in positioning the SAP Cloud/HCM/SuccessFactors suite will be critical to your success.
  • An ability to develop your own networks internally and externally for learning and business development purposes.
  • An ability to take the lead in front of the client, pulling together the extended team in Alight to meet your definition of the client's requirement.
  • A demonstrated track record of finding and closing new business.

Key experience

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Minimum BA degree education or equivalent experience (required).
  • 10+ years demonstrated successful track record of selling technology and consulting services (Cloud experience required with SAP experience an asset).
  • Proven field sales experience developing sales pipeline, territory mgmt. and closing new business.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the HR Technology landscape, especially SAP/SuccessFactors, Workday and Oracle.
  • Proven experience building and managing relationships to drive leads, opportunities, engagements, and sales revenue through working with strategic partners SAP/SAP Ecosystem.
  • Confidence to effectively profile and qualify in/out business opportunities.
  • Individual drive to succeed, with the ability to work collaboratively within a customer-centric account management environment.
  • Multi-country experience is a plus for this role.
