We are hiring a Staffing Coordinator to work onsite in our Round Rock, TX center. ( Call Center environment) This role ensures that the staffing needs of our clients aremet. Creating a pipeline of high quality candidates for administrative, professional and management roles. Responsibilities include working with various clients/projects to assess their hiring needs; conducting initial interviews over the telephone as well as in person; attending various job fairs and visiting college campuses to recruit for the various clients/projects; reviewing applications and resumes and forwarding them in a timely manner to respective clients/projects; and determining recruiting strategies within budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Write and place employment advertisements with local newspapers, colleges, employment agencies, and state agencies.
  • Post internal and external job openings.
  • Create and update local recruiting reports.
  • Interprets state policies and procedures pertaining to Recruitment and Selection and advises state Hiring Managers on applying the policies and procedures to their specific situation
  • Receive, screen, and process offers and due diligence checks.
  • Work with the client to establish advertisement guidelines.
  • Keep detailed records of employment advertisements and ensure accurate information for advertisements.
  • Work within given policies and procedures
  • Attend and/or implement job fairs.
  • Work with the client to enhance the level of service that the recruiter provides.
  • Work with PeopleSoft and Vurv systems.
  • Responds orally and in writing to inquiries and issues from state Hiring Managers and Human Resources staff on Recruitment and Selection matters; prepares correspondence, status reports, and other documentation pertaining to Recruitment and Selection program and activities.
  • Responsible for assisting in the testing of Vurv system updates, version upgrades, and enhancements to the system as delivered to the client.
  • Other duties, as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or manager.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic general knowledge of recruiting best practices.
  • Proficiency with various software application programs, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work independent of direct supervision.
  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, preferred.

Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as Taleo and/or Peoplesoft, highly desired.
