The HRFS Senior Analyst is responsible for the day to day productivity across their assigned clients, which can include multiple service locations and platforms. The Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely execution of ongoing client deliverables, as well as developing solutions to complex problems across their assigned clients. The Senior Analyst can serve as the primary point of contact, internally and externally, along with the Operations Services Manager.

Overall

  • Act as subject matter expert and execute assigned deliverables for clients.
  • Monitor the workload across aligned payroll operations ensuring business as usual and projects are delivered to required deadlines with quality. Actively monitor operational health by testing and ensure processing checklist/SOP is followed
    • Provide case management oversight and adherence to turn-around times
    • Create, manage and execute on required recovery plans and Root Cause Analysis documentation, as necessary
    • Conduct applicable risk-based auditing to ensure consistent and accurate results
    • Ensure appropriate evidence is provided/documented for SOC Control tasks
  • Drive overall quality control as well as support and identify opportunity for process optimization and automation
  • Support the Operations Service Manager (OSM), Client Service Manager (CSM) and/or Delivery Executive in consultative best practice conversations with the client(s)
    • Participate in domain specific Change Request requirements sessions, resource estimation exercises, and internally initiated projects
    • Coordinate testing and develop complex reports
  • Partner with Client Service Manager and/or Service Delivery Manager to mitigate financial impacts of Errors and Omissions (E&Os).
  • Adhere to Operating System guidelines and supporting POV and industry best practices
  • Own initial day- to- day client escalations, Communicate escalations to the appropriate resource, for awareness and management of further escalation
     

Client Relationship Interaction

  • Gains an understanding of processes and documentation to support client or service transitions and ongoing work.
  • Communicates effectively with the client and internal partners for analysis/resolution of issues or project impacts.
  • Identifies and assess their impact on service delivery in appropriate forums. Leads client interaction and facilitation on client touch points.

Project Execution

  • Creates detailed functional business requirement specifications and ensures proper testing hand-offs for integration testing.

  • Monitors the scope throughout the project to ensure the scope is baselined, and that any changes requested to the scope are evaluated for project impact and business need.

  • Provides status reports and communicates changes in process for project assignments.

  • Assists in Quality Assurance (QA) and knowledge management.

  • Identify issues and drives change for related improvements.

  • Works with third-party providers (both Alight partners and client partners) to ensure seamless process delivery.

  • Leads process improvements for existing processes and support creation of new processes with emphasis on up/down stream impacts. Ensures that the process flows are complete and within the defined scope for projects.

  • Identifies and resolves escalations or complex issues with strong emphasis on associated patterns, trends, and root cause analysis.

  • Meets aligned Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Guides and supports client delivery for new and existing colleagues.

  • Determines when inquiries are beyond the scope of responsibilities of Alight and/or team and escalates as appropriate.

  • Supports the internal and external Change Request process, including scoping and costing.

  • Assists with documentation training of maintenance releases .

  • Supports and oversees global sourcing initiatives.

  • Supports and provide investigation on regulatory and compliance issues (if applicable) and ensure reporting to management.

  • Ensures the service delivery model is being followed by challenging requested custom functionality and offering alternative solutions.

  • Assist in annual Business Continuity preparation events
