The Transformation and Optimization Architect manages the overall delivery of Alight’s Transformation and Optimization Services. Uses broad experience with Workday implementation, AMS support and/or tenant assessments to drive the client towards value realization of their Workday investment. They will be aligned to multi-domain tenant assessments, collaborate with Solutions and Enablement managers to create client’s Workday roadmaps and hand the roadmap plan to ongoing teams for execution with continued oversight

Key Responsibilities:

  • Has a broad understanding of the entire Workday HCM product suite, proving the ability to speak to clients and leaders in high level terms in any given area. 

  • Responsible for leading large and/or multi domain tenant assessments across functional areas. 

  • Support BPaaS and AMS Standalone clients with regular oversight, diagnostics, and annual roadmap creating/updates.

  • Executes on the cutting edge of product roll out including ‘first time’ installations, use cases with new technology, POV design and Sales/Solutions offerings - stays current with Workday release features

  • Design and deliver future-ready Workday solutions to help organizations optimize their HR functions and enhance their employees’ experiences.

  • Facilitate cross-functional sessions to familiarize the Alight team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support roadmap projects

  • Collaborate with functional and technical consultants to design holistic solutions.

  • Provide a proactive interface between the external clients and the internal staff to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday roadmap.

  • Collaborates with Solutions Architects and Enablement Managers to ensure the delivery of solutions from sales to AMS.

  • Function as the lead architect by being strategically engaged in delivery of custom solutions created during the sales process and in conjunction with the Solutions Architects. May also be responsible for creating custom solutions as a result of discovery and the delivery process.

  • Mentors colleagues in broader Workday thought leadership.

  • Facilitates discussions around our framework and ensures a quality of delivery and consistency in our delivery process

  • Strong understanding of the Alight Point of View and looks to continuously refine and develop methodology and Point of View across domains.

  • Works across the organization and maintains/builds strong working relationships based on experiences/past interactions

Knowledge, Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline.

  • Will have significant business and implementation or AMS support experience and deep understanding across multiple domains

  • Influential communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries.

  • Relates well with others with the ability to adapt style as needed.

  • Currently Workday certified in multiple functional areas

  • 8-10 years relevant work experience required

  • Workday project experience or AMS support required with experience supporting technology solutions outside of their area of expertise

  • Previous consulting experience required either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization

  • Previous experience in thought leadership preferred

Potential for up to 25% travel required

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act Statement. Please note, offers are being determined on an individual basis. Alight takes into consideration the candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data and internal equity. The estimated minimum salary for this role is $111,600.00/year (full-time). In addition to the base salary, this position may be bonus eligible.
