    Job Summary:

    The SVP of Strategy and Emerging Markets role will be responsible for developing and executing all growth strategies in emerging markets including GAs, public sector, and future markets to be defined.  Will be accountable for relationship management of key broker partners and responsibility for growth and retention strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead development and execution of growth and retention strategies and related processes for identified emerging markets.  
    • Educate sales team on new processes/best practices.  Monitor results including application and revise as needed.
    • Partner with cross functional teams to develop and mature Allstate emerging markets                           
    •  Manage relationships with key distribution partners to improve retention and promote new sales opportunities
    • Reduce conflict between primary distribution teams by building subject matter expertise in key verticals and consulting with sales team on prospects
       

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This job does have supervisory duties.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Education and Experience 

    • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience 15 – 20 years in Strategy Development and/or Leadership

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    • Life and Health insurance license

    Functional Skills

    • Proficiency with web-based applications along with excellent navigation skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess critical thinking skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
    • Demonstrated supervisory experience

    Allstate prides itself on offering our employees a robust Total Rewards package which includes base salary.  The base range offered for the role is: $165-220K and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.  Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
