    Job Summary:

    The Direct Web Optimization Lead Consultant is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to influence business strategy. This job supports Allstate’s online sales application, focusing on sales metrics, user experiences, and customer journeys. Success in this role includes the ability to product insights through the design and execution of complex analysis and the ability to persuasively advocate a position and build momentum for change.

    This role is remote and an individual contributor position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Synthesizes large amount of complex data into testable hypotheses, meaningful conclusions, and actionable recommendations
    • Applies different analytical concepts to gain deep understanding of factors influencing funnel conversion and consumer behavior
    • Thought leadership; recommends process improvements and influences strategy through compelling written and presented work
    • Develops data assets for research and reporting use cases
    • Monitors and evaluates projects / business initiatives against key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicates results and recommendations to management
    • Develops standards of practice around data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting
    • Partners cross-functionally with colleagues across other areas of responsibility such as Product Management, IT, and Finance.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics, IT or related field or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of data and analytics experience; web analytics experience preferred but not required
    • Uses sound decision making capabilities including problem solving approaches, decision frameworks; ability to design and lead complex analysis
    • Thrives in a collaborative environment
    • Ability to inspire trust and influence management
    • Data visualization experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Proficient in SQL
    • Experience working with Big Data

    Additional Desired Functional Skills

    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience in different programming languages such as Python and R
    • Proficiency with web analytics tools; preferably Adobe Web Analytics Suite
    • Microsoft PowerBI development a plus
    • General insurance knowledge a plus

    Compensation offered for this role is $82,000.00-$146,125.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.

    The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
