Applies expertise and knowledge to the development of concepts and techniques and process improvements
Identifies and assists with resolving potential issues and assists others to ensure data center uptime and project success
Assists with reviews of major design modifications/upgrades in accordance with applicable codes including compliance and safety
Assists with benchmarking
Assists with creating and reviewing all mission critical MOPs (Method of Procedures) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for accuracy, safety and assessing the potential for business impact
Provide support of remote facilities when required
Collaborate with partner data center at all times

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
0-2 years experience (Preferred)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
State Electric Certification (Preferred)
Stationary Engineering License (Preferred)
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Good knowledge and design of critical functions: - Electrical - Plumbing - HVAC (Heating, Venting and Air Conditioning - CRACS (Computer Room Air Conditioning) - UPS (Uninterruptible Power systems) - Generators - Cooling Towers
Knowledge of Specialized fire systems, including VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) and Monitoring systems, EPMS (Electrical Power Management System and BAS (Building Automation System)
Familiar with ITIL and Service Now Change Process
Knowledge of data center infrastructure or other mission critical, high-risk or high reliability environments
Problem-solving skills
Familiarity interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings, ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics
Strong communication skills and familiarity with email and MS Office applications
Good project management skills
Awareness of safety and risk management
Knowledge of the project lifecycle
Shift information:
Location: Position is located in our Hudson, OH building location.
Hours: 1st shift Tuesday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:30PM (10 hour shifts).
Flexibility will be needed on occasion to cover other shifts when team members are out of the office.
Training: Will occur over 6 weeks and include 2 weeks on each shift, first, second and third. Once training is complete employee will return to first shift full time.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $24.71 - 41.47 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
