Property-Liability segment Controller teams in successfully conducting analysis, facilitating communication, and recording financial results effectively. This role supports the achievement of business objectives with minimal guidance, proactively anticipates issues, assessing their impact, and recommending and successfully executing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and/or coordinate internal and external inquiries and/or requests
Review claims to ensure accuracy of reinsurance cessions
Prepare quarterly and annual statutory and/or GAAP financial statements and schedules
Calculate, record, bill and collect/pay reinsurance recoveries, premium, adjustments, accruals
Implement within the Organization the results achieved through either settlements or formal rulings
Coordinate Communications between all impacted parties as relates to reinsurance disputes
Work collaboratively within the team and across business units
Participate in and initiate process improvement projects
Comply with all reporting requirements as it relates to liquidations
Identify financially troubled companies that reinsured Allstate
Administer reinsurance contracts, including calculation of recoverables and application of contract terms
Secure, monitor, and manage reinsurance collateral requirements
Record, analyze, and reconcile reinsurance financial transactions
Education
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Finance, Accounting, insurance, reinsurance
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
General knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, corporate finance, and accounting concepts including Statutory, GAAP, and Schedule F (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $57,500.00 - 100,212.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
