Alteryx is looking for a Sr Manager, Strategic Alliances with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our technology partner ecosystem. The objective is to work with selected technology partners as well as strategic consulting partners to extend our reach, revenues and services delivery.

The candidate will have significant experience and passion incubating, launching, and scaling top-tier technology and cloud partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong channel sales and marketing background and leadership skills that enables them to engage with partner sales teams as well as work with GSIs in 3-way fashion to drive strong field level engagement between the technology partner, GSI and Alteryx.

This is a critical role within the Alteryx team and will require cross-functional leadership skills to work with Alteryx Sales, Support, Services, Product and Engineering.  This role will be a major change agent, having impact and influence with a high degree of energy, flexibility, and drive to create real and measurable business results.

Candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.  We are looking for candidates that are creative, aggressive and looking to expand and advance their responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Incubate and operationalize partnerships with industry leading technology leaders – build, market, sell with them globally.

  • Ability to initiate and support, fresh partnership conversations, driving a plan for mutual success, driving technology integrations and a GTM plan

  • ISV onboarding and partnership development is a must.

  • Coordinate the development of internal and external-facing marketing and sales collateral supporting GTM efforts

  • Work closely with the Alteryx Sales organization to broker account mapping and field-level relationships with tech partner, GSI and overlay teams

  • Represent both the voice of the partner to Alteryx and the voice of Alteryx to the partner as required to resolve issues and attain success with the customer.

  • Develop expertise with partners’ current areas of focus and areas for expansion 

  • Define and communicate Alteryx’s value propositions to partners’ teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Business Development

  • Deep domain expertise in the data ecosystem

  • Ability to independently develop business plans and seek buy off from leadership.

  • Self-sufficient, focused leader with a propensity towards execution and driving revenue

  • Natural and effortless relationship management / partner development skills

  • Experienced leader who is able to influence and build relationships across all levels and organizations internally and externally

  • Passionate champion who can provide world-class program management and thought leadership to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities
