    Position summary

    orting Operations and Quality in continuous improvement activities.

    • Identifying and recommending continuous improvement and new product development ideas.
    • Crafting early concept learning plans and conducting design tradeoff analysis
    • Developing and maintaining product requirements, specifications and test methods within Electrical engineering.
    • Driving the development and standardization of engineering test plans to validate new or existing Electrical system performance using design for reliability tools and performance sensitivity analysis. Consideration must be given to the applicable third-party certifications, for example: FDA, UL, CE, CSA etc.
    • Communicating and collaborating with other specialists, managers, suppliers, and contractors.
    • Providing leadership, technical support and perspective on multi-functional teams
    • Preparing and delivering complex engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally.
    • Preparing, reviewing and supporting Intellectual Property

    We want you to have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or related subject area

    • 8+ years of engineering experience.

    • PCBA Design experience.

    • Experience with Altium, OrCad, LTspice, PSpice, or other PCBA layout and simulation tools.

    • Knowledge of battery management systems for lithium ion batteries is desired.

    • Experience with hands on troubleshooting and capturing of data with multimeter, oscilloscopes, and other instrumentation.

    • Programming and firmware experience is desired.

    • Strong critical thinking skills & organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

    • Comprehension of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in regulated environments (FDA/ MDD etc.).

    • Sound knowledge of statistics and their application to product / process design.

    • Ability to assess complex data objectively and to make scientifically sound decisions.

    • Strong computer skills, https://i.e., Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Visio, Statistics Software such as Minitab or Statistics, etc.

    • Experience working in stage gate new product development processes.
