Informal leadership of country policy and government affairs teams in the area of Value and Access policy, ensuring a consistent global strategy, annual goals and policy approach on critical issues
Collaborate with internal cross functional partners across GV&A, Regulatory, International government affairs and affiliate teams
Ambassador and strong external profile and network for Amgen policy positions in this area - driving positive external reputation in innovative approaches to patient access at strategic policy forums.
Transparent and clear communication on policy objectives, activities and outcomes
Track, analyze and communicate in a timely relevant policy changes in major markets that affect Amgen's business and share best practice interventions across countries
Drive and communicate policy thought leadership through reports and peer-reviewed publications with appropriate external partners
Develop and maintain responsible and ethical relationships with leaders of HTA agencies and related groups - leveraging senior Amgen executive engagement as required.
As a member of the Access Strategy Leadership team, ensure Value and Access policy is embedded in the above brand global and country leader strategic agenda.
Drive agenda and actions from the quarterly HTA and Payer Policy Steering committee, consisting of senior Amgen executives
Build partnership with the US Health Policy team to share learnings and experience from ex U.S. healthcare systems

You would be joining Amgen's global Value & Access Policy team, reporting directly to the VP Global Value & Access. Alongside the VP, you will be responsible to define and shape Amgen's strategy for pricing and reimbursement systems worldwide
What we expect of you

Degree educated with proven experience in pharma biotech industry
Extensive knowledge of worldwide patient access, pricing and reimbursement policy matters
Experience in working with key policy makers and HTA agencies around the world (NICE, CADTH, PBAC, EUnetHTA, HAS, GbA, TLV,...) including multi country collaborations
Experience in leading strategic and/or working groups within trade associates on priority access topics
Solid understanding of various requirements of pharma from HTA institutions and healthcare payers
Strong track record in building strong networks both internally and externally, with an ability to work independently and drive high productivity in absence of direct reports.
Ability to create and inspire teams towards longer term, realistic yet ambitious policy goals.
Strong stakeholder engagement when partnering with affiliates, influence and implementing change
