Principal SAP Solution Architect

nd expertise in designing and implementing SAP solutions. You will collaborate with customers to understand business requirements, define architectural designs, and ensure the integration and scalability of SAP systems.

• Position is responsible for providing technical leadership for Manufacturing & Clinical Supply Chain (MCS) in support of current and evolving business strategy within SAP ERP Central Component (ECC).

• Accountable for assessing Clinical Trial Operations requirements fitment into standard SAP offerings and proposing technical solutions to accommodate the rapid advancement of Amgen’s Clinical pipeline.

• Influence architecture decisions and solution choices with business partners and enterprise architects to ensure standard platform functionalities are applied whenever possible.

• Accountable for the design, architecture, build supervision, testing, delivery, and maintenance of Clinical Supply Chain specific ERP solutions in collaboration with enterprise platform partners.

• Collaborate with Business, Operations IS and ERP platform solution architects to ensure 100+ Clinical specific customizations are reliably accounted for in SAP cloud migrations & S4/HANA transition.

• Accountable for ensuring interfaces to upstream & downstream data sources/transactional data are reliably maintained and accounted for with system or business process changes.

• Drive implementation of multi-functional initiatives required for regulatory compliance.

• Lead vendor implementation and holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs and critical metrics.

• Ensure all the required functional, configuration and technical design documents of SAP ECC Module capabilities are crafted in compliance with GxP requirements and ERP architecture standards.

• Promotes adoption of SAP industry standard methodologies within SAP. This includes thought leadership on ICSM, S/4 Hana and related modules.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Technology experience

OR

Master’s degree and 6 years of Technology experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Technology experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Technology experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Technology experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Plan to Stock, Order to Cash & Master Data configurations.

• Tenured experience with S4/Hana and Supporting Certifications

• Familiarity with ICSM- Intelligent Clinical Supply Management

• Experience with SAP supply chain processes in a Biologics/Pharma environment.

• Experience translating sophisticated business requirements and negotiating solutioning with both internal partners, ERP enterprise and vendors.
