Fabrication Technician

Anduril is looking for a Fabrication Technician to join the team 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work with fellow Technicians and Engineers to fabricate items using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing
• Perform quality checks on completed products
• Troubleshoot issues with the fabrication equipment
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawing
• Welding (GMAW/GTAW) of steel, stainless, aluminum, exotic alloys with 5+ years' experience
• Metal fabrication in an R&D environment with 5+ years' experience
• Sheet metal fabrication experience (using press brakes, finger brakes, slip rollers, bead rollers, and other forming equipment) with 5+ years' experience
• Basic use of conventional machining equipment (mill/lathe)
• Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, design, order materials, execute)
• High level of mechanical aptitude (aerospace/automotive/motorsports background)
• Advanced mathematical and engineering skills.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to multi-task
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Water Jet/Laser cutting experience
• CAD (Solidworks) experience
• CNC machine operating/setup experience
• General knowledge with AC and DC electrical systems
