Anduril’s Quality organization is seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team. The Quality team works with our internal teams and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements. We develop cutting-edge Quality processes and methods to secure scalable, long-term business success.

As a Quality Specialist, you will work across the organization to execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, hardware troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ensure the execution of product and process requirements.
• Investigate the root causes of hardware failures, working alongside Engineers.
• Manage Quality Issue tickets for nonconforming hardware.
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) and calibration activities for their location.
• Support the definition and execution of one or more tasks to inspect or test hardware during incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.
• Support the continuous improvement of the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Support investigations, initiatives, and projects as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or comparable hardware technical experience (4 years minimum)
• 1+ years of hardware troubleshooting experience, in addition to the above experience
• Ability to read drawings and/or electrical schematics and knowledge of product-specific methodologies such as ASME Y14.5, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Process (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes and troubleshooting complex hardware.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense, automotive, medical device, or similar complex hardware.
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 4+ years of hardware inspection and/or testing experience
• One or more American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications: CQI, CQT, CCT, CQE, CRE, CSSYB, CSSGB
• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Process (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Experience with low volume manufacturing
