    Position summary

    orm moderately complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.

    • Understand and employs best practices.

    • Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.

    • Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.

    • Understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.

    • Work under the general supervision of a development manager.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.

    • Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in a related position.

    • Work experience or academic coursework must have included:

      • Application development in an object-oriented language including C++, C# and Java;
      • Experience with advanced geometry data structures;
      • Experience designing and assessing algorithmic solutions on complex data sets;
      • Experience with complex legacy code bases across multiple teams; Experience working with multiple consuming teams.
    • Additional work location information: May permit telecommuting from home office within commuting distance to Ansys headquarters.
