will also fulfill the obligations of the Deputy Facility Security Office ("DFSO") as a member of the AGI Industrial Security Team. This role will work closely with the AGI Facility Security Officer ("FSO") and Senior Management Officer ("SMO") to assist with the proper administration of physical-security protocols in accordance with the NISPOM Rule and assist in ensuring general NISPOM Rule compliance. In addition, the Supervisor will also coordinate physical security measures in partnership with corporate Ansys facilities management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing Exton site security policies and procedures
Oversee physical security measures, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities
Supervise the mail room, receptionists, and other support staff to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate with external agencies such as law enforcement and emergency services
Oversee contractors supporting facility-related functions (security, food services, maintenance, etc.)
Coordinate maintenance and repair work as needed
Support the management of security-related documentation and maintain detailed logs and records
Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols and procedures, including NISPOM Rules and Insider Threats
Respond to security incidents and emergencies and partner with our Ethics and Compliance function to conduct investigations as necessary
Assist in personnel security clearance administrative duties such as initiating investigations and sending/receiving VARs
In support of the FSO, ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Proven experience in facilities management
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of personal integrity and professional judgment
Accustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity
Ability and willingness to secure US DoD (preferably TS/SCI) security clearance
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A certificate for FSO program management for possessing facilities
Possession of US DoD (preferably TS/SCI) security clearance is preferred
