With a strong academic background in mechanical engineering or physics, you combine analytical rigor with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

    Your experience with thermal simulation tools-such as Ansys Icepak, Ansys Mechanical, HeatDesigner, or FloTHERM-enables you to quickly diagnose issues and propose optimal solutions for customers across the electronics, PCB, and semiconductor packaging industries. You are comfortable working in both Japanese and English, and you communicate technical information clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.

    You are proactive, always looking to deepen your technical expertise and stay ahead of industry trends. Whether automating workflows with Python, C#, or JavaScript, or creating technical documentation, you take pride in delivering high-quality results.     What You'll Be Doing:

    • Provide expert technical support for Ansys thermal analysis software to customers and channel partners, focusing on electronics, PCBs, and semiconductor packages.

    • Apply configuration, integration, and troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.

    • Adhere to established support processes to ensure high-quality, timely responses and maximize customer satisfaction.

    • Develop deep technical expertise in configuring and deploying simulation software across multiple engineering domains.

    • Collaborate with engineering and product teams by submitting product enhancement requests, defect reports, and participating in field testing of new releases.

    • Support sales and marketing efforts by delivering product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions to facilitate customer adoption and engagement.

    • Contribute to the development of best practices and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

    • Participate in strategic team and company initiatives, including continuous improvement projects and cross-functional collaborations.

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics; Ph.D. a plus.

    • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools such as Ansys Icepak, Ansys Mechanical, HeatDesigner, or FloTHERM (industry or academic).

    • Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

    • Proficiency in automating engineering workflows using Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.

    • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and presentation, particularly in an engineering or software context.

    • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.

    • Familiarity with integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, printed circuit boards, and electronic assemblies is preferred.

    • Experience with debugging software and creating macros for workflow efficiency is an advantage.
