    Position summary

The goal is to proactively influence and collaborate with the functional teams - meeting business requirements, balancing cost, infrastructure, supply, resources, credibility and supplier relationship and to scale to the right capacity across Logistics to maximise sell-through.

    IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Support Logistics Capacity planning related queries across Inbound, Outbound, Distribution Centers, all route to markets (Direct and Indirect business). - Maintain Logistics Planning system tools to ensure accurate forecast and capacity plans to support the capacity planning process. - Report on Key operational KPIs to monitor forecast performance against actuals. - Analyse Forecast requirements against Logistics capacity to identify any risk to supporting Apple's key events and volumes; where required collaborate with the Freight and Distribution Center Managers to enable more capacity The role requires support the Logistics capacity planning team throughout the year including new product launches, event driven promotions and sustaining operations taking seasonality into consideration where applicable. - Support all related reporting activities (dashboard, metrics, etc) including reviewing the need to enhance the tool to support the business need. - Handle, supervise and understand variances between forecast and historical data profiles (both sustaining operations and during New Product Introduction). - Participate in Logistics Cost and Shipping strategy reviews with Operations Finance, Reseller Operation and Supply/Demand Management. - Drive continuous improvement in planning process and management system constantly looking for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of handling the business.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree preferred, applicants with 1-3 years relevant experience in supply chain/logistics will also be considered.

    • Strong Data analysis and numeric skills with excellent attention to details and the ability to evaluate, analyse, present data to senior management team (as needed)

    • Organised and able to react to the challenges of a dynamic environment
    • Ability to deal with significant complexity driven by product transitions, macro factors (such as variations/exceptions in the supply chain), changing business landscape and supply or demand constraints
    • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to establish positive relationships in a cross-functional team environment
    • Positive mentality, energy and demeanor with strong work ethics
    • Demonstrates initiative, perseverance, creative and flexibility
    • Proficient at high level with Microsoft Excel
    • Customers / Partners centric, focus on meeting the business demand, thinking of the big picture
    • SAP, Tableau, Business objects (or equivalent) and database skills an advantage
